Clear billing expectations
Refund Policy
This policy explains subscription cancellation, duplicate or incorrect charges, refund requests, and what happens to paid access.
Effective and last updated: 2026-07-151. Monthly subscriptions
Creator and Pro are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through Paddle. They renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time through the Paddle customer portal; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
2. Refund requests
If you believe a charge is duplicated, unauthorized, technically incorrect, or the paid service was materially unavailable, contact us as soon as possible and preferably within 14 days of the charge. Include the account email and Paddle transaction or invoice reference, but never send full card details.
Requests are reviewed under applicable law, Paddle's buyer terms, and the circumstances of the charge. Stating a 14-day contact window does not limit any longer mandatory right available in your country.
3. Change of mind and service usage
Except where required by law or Paddle's applicable buyer terms, fees for a billing period that has begun are generally not refundable solely because you changed your mind or did not use the available quota. Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
4. Approved refunds
Approved refunds are returned through Paddle to the original payment method. Processing time depends on Paddle, the card network, and your financial institution. A full refund may immediately end paid access or return the workspace to the Free plan; a partial refund may result in a corresponding access or quota adjustment.
5. Canceling is not deleting
Canceling a subscription stops future renewal but does not delete your CommentBrief account or reports. Use the Data Deletion page separately if you want stored account and workspace data removed. An active paid subscription must be canceled before self-service account deletion so that future charges are not detached from the account.
6. Contact
Use the support address on this page for billing or refund questions. Paddle may also contact you or handle a request directly as merchant of record.
